The new 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE, which used to be the ML version, is now going through a full on makeover to help the German giant get back into the SUV game.
This time the new 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE class mid size sports utility vehicle will get its first doll up since 2011 it looks like its going to fall in line with the current design ethos that the rest of the Benz family is following. The reason that this is a must for the luxx brand is that its seeing a big push from some of its old nemesises including the Audi Q7 and the upcoming new BMW X5 and so you can expect the Mercedes-Benz team to really step up their tech game and offer a cooler younger look and feel.
The 2019 GLE will be the little brother of the beefier GLS and be built on the modular architecture which will be the go to system for most of the Mercedes-Benz SUVz and the GLE will be a two row option while the GLS will come with a standard third row. The new Mercedes-Benx GLE will be equipped with a souped up in line six with a couple of versions including an electric inline six with a 4.0Litre, which should make the younger demographic that the company is trying to influence more apt to put the GLE on their shopping short list.
Look for the the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE class to compete directly with the Audi Q7 offering, the Volvo XC90, probably the Lexus RX, for sure the new BMW X5 and you could probably also throw in the Range Rover Sport to round up the whole non domestic category. You can expect the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE class to come in around the mid fifty thousand dollar range and you can expect to see the new 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE class hit the dealerships sometime in mid 2019.
